Plans and pricing¶
Start with Solo at $99 a month. Your Proof Snapshot is free on both plans, as often as you want it. You pay anything beyond that only when you seal an artifact.

Solo¶
$99 per month, or $990 per year (two months free).
The entry plan, and it runs the whole product: the append-only event store, the hash chain, bitemporal timestamps, and the approval gate, with the independent safety check running server-side on Kanonik's own model account. Your first framework is included. Your first user is included; extra users are $9.99 per month each.
There is no free tier.
Pro¶
$399 per month, or $3,990 per year (two months free).
Everything in Solo, with the proof handed to your AI as it works: what checked each record, when, who approved it, and the log entry someone can look up.
Solo already proves things. The same checks run, the record is sealed the same way, and a Sealed Audit Package produces the full signed bundle. The difference is effort and timing: on Solo you produce the proof when someone asks, and on Pro your AI is already citing it while it writes the answer. If you are asked often, that is the whole difference. One Sealed Audit Package a year is included.
Framework Activation¶
$499 one-time, per additional framework beyond your first.
Its Statement of Applicability and control mapping are generated, checked, and sealed into the record. Because the record underneath is framework-agnostic, a second framework is mostly recognition of work you already did rather than a second program. See Working to more than one framework.
Proof Snapshot¶
Free, on both plans, as often as you want it.
A sealed, point-in-time record of where your program stands. Take one whenever somebody asks what your position is: a customer's security review, a regulator, a data protection authority, or your own board.
Whoever you hand it to can check it at kanonik.ai/verify without a Kanonik account and without trusting our servers. That is the whole point of it. It stands on its own.
Pro is not what gives you proof. Proof is on both plans. Pro is how proof reaches your AI continuously as it works, instead of you downloading a document when somebody asks.
Sealed Audit Package¶
$1,499 per finalized audit session.
The Auditor Export bundle and the evidence narrative with reviewer attribution. Billed only when you seal the session.
Auditor access is not part of what you are paying for here. Inviting your auditor is free on every plan: read-only by construction, never counted as a billable seat, and open-ended unless you set an end date yourself.
Enterprise and air-gapped¶
Contact us. A dedicated or sovereign deployment, EU data residency, SSO/SAML, custom retention.
How the pricing is set¶
Pricing is set against the human labour it replaces. A GRC consultant or auditor bills roughly $1,500 to $3,000 a day; the plan is priced against that, not as a platform fee scaled to your headcount.
You bring your own AI key for your side of the work, so the model cost sits with your provider under your contract. The independent safety check runs server-side on Kanonik's own model account. There are no token meters and no per-call AI billing from Kanonik.
Price policy¶
- Prices change only by a sealed, published event, so you cannot be silently repriced.
- The base price never rises at renewal.
- You are never charged for evidence you already recorded, and defensibility is never sold for periods you did not record.
